"Serenity Senior Living has been my Mom's home since December 2012. Our family couldn't be happier with the loving care Chris, Stephanie, and the staff have provided. Mom is now 93 and needs 24 hour care as her dementia progressed to the point she could not take care of herself. Serenity is like a big family with a staff that really cares for the residents as if they were family! They provide a home like atmosphere with a family dining arrangement with home cooked meals, an entertainment room with TV and even guitar serenades by Chris. The rooms are nicely appointed with your own TV, mementos and pictures from home to make the residents feel safe and secure with familiar surroundings. My family always feels welcome when we visit or call with up to date information on our loved one. We couldn't have found a more secure, helpful, and loving place for our Mom!
Thank you Chris, Stephanie, and staff."

I had the incredible pleasure of placing my father at Serenity Senior Living in July 2017.  It was under rushed circumstances that I found Serenity and moved him in, but it turned out to be an incredible blessing.  The staff is always very attentive, friendly and patient with all of the residents.  I frequently stop by the house, unannounced, and witness the staff interacting with residents in a loving, caring manner.  They treat everyone with dignity and respect, as if they are part of the family.  I cannot express in words the peace in knowing someone is looking out for my dad’s best interests at all times.  As owners/operators, Jay and Kate are creating a very desirable home for seniors to enjoy as they become more dependent.  I’d highly recommend Serenity Senior Living to anyone looking for a place for an aging parent or loved one – I’ve been thoroughly pleased with all of the love and care they have provided.

"The care is outstanding! My father has been in and out of 10 places over the last 13 years due to a stroke. He has been very hard to care for as these 10 places would agree! Diana took him in as if he were her own dad! He is very well fed always clean and highly entertained! When the time comes, this is where I will live! Hope Diana is still around!

"When both of our parents were diagnosed with severe dementia, it was devastating!
Serenity Senior Living has been a blessing for my entire family. It's awesome to know that the two people you love the most are being taken care of. Not only are their physical, medical, and emotional needs being met, but they are treated with love and compassion on a twenty-four hour basis."

"Serenity has been a blessing in my father's life. It is never easy to trust your loved one to the care of others. Serenity has gone the extra distance to ensure my father has what he wants as well as what he needs and I have peace of mind that he's well taken care of. I recommend Serenity for your loved ones."

"We found a great home for my 86 year old Mom at Serenity. We started looking for someplace smaller and more caring than the retirement community Mom had lived in. We needed someplace where the folks working there would recall what Mom did yesterday and last week and someplace where the staff stayed long enough so that turnover would not add to her confusion.

We looked at several places and ultimately found Serenity. We knew after 10 minutes that we had found the right place. The owner (Chris) and staff are caring and experienced. They clearly have their heart in this business and that means a lot. We moved Mom in the next week and she felt at ease right away. The team gave her a warm welcome and they listened to what we said about Mom and what she liked. She started dancing again (she always has been a dancer) and joking and laughing as always. She liked living there and she liked the other residents. Often when I visited Mom, the staff had updates and pictures or videos for me. They told me stories of how Mom was doing and that meant a lot to me. Mom’s had Alzheimer’s and she could not recall what she had done yesterday, but the team at Serenity treated her like an adopted grandmother and made note of everything she experienced.

Mom passed away a while ago. She was in hospice care (and still living at Serenity) the last three months of her life. When it was Mom’s time to go, she stayed where she had lived and felt the warmth of home and the folks that cared about her. She had a “second” family in the staff there.
